Our IT Leaders

Gregory Gubrud

Director of Business Development

Greg Gubrud has worked since 1988 to build ONTOP Systems into a leader in the vertical software markets targeted by the company.

He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.

When asked how his college curriculum contributes to his career, Greg says, "Biologists are scientists who have come to a conclusion about something and then create research to support (or refute) their supposition.  Building software is similar: you develop a vision for the solution to a business problem, and then you develop the software to solve it."

Before starting ONTOP Systems, Greg was a co-founder of Horizon Satellite Systems in Eugene, Oregon--one of the top satellite system retailers in the country.

Greg has been involved in the Flooring Industry since he was a child. His father Keith founded Imperial Floors of Eugene, Oregon. Greg has worked in many roles there including warehouse, installation, sales, admin, and for the past 22 years, as Director of Information Technology.

Greg was a young entrepreneur, forming his first corporation at age 16
